‘She Sells Sea Shells’

A beautiful little still life, capturing the vintage vase, foraged florals and seashell from Captain’s Rest, Tasmania. I stayed here with my Bloom Art Experiences business partner and friend, Emily Day, for a couple of nights painting and relaxing after we ran an art retreat further north in Tassie. I painted it at Captain’s Rest, with views stretched before me out the window, and the still life scene right in front of me. I hope this painting captures a special moment in time. 
I added peach and mint stripes along the sides which makes it so gorgeous from the front and the sides.  
Painted on linen canvas, stretched, unframed, acrylics, ready to hang.
